Transfers of Entry Period

You are able to transfer your entry online to an acquaintance between Wednesday 1 July 2020 until Friday 31 July 2020 @ 11.59pm. You need to find the person yourself to transfer your entry to. You need to sort out payment between yourself and the person taking your entry. The person who is taking your entry will also need to pay a administration fee to complete their new entry.

You must contact the organizer via email with your details and the details of the person you intend to transfer to.

For RACE BIB TRANSFER, kindly email with Subject - RACE BIB TRANSFER / Name / Category / Details to events@ufl.com.my.

ANY TRANSFER IN THIS CASE CAN TO BE TO ANY PERSON OF ANY DISTANCE OR CATEGORY.

The person taking your entry must bring the following to the 'Transfers' table during REPC (whenever REPC is open):

  • his/her photo ID and a copy of your event email confirmation
  • a signed letter stating you are transferring the entry to him/her
  • administration fee as transfer fee
  • a completed race bib transfer form
  • a signed copy of the Indemnity & Release Form

Compulsory to 70KM, 50KM & 25KM runners to do mandatory items checking on 19 September or 20 September 2020 @ Race Village. Please bring along your race bib and Malaysian IC / Passport (for non-Malaysians) when you do redeem your mandatory items checking for verification. You also required signing the INDEMNITY AND RELEASE FORM when you do mandatory items checking. You are NOT ALLOWED to do mandatory items checking on behalf of other runners.

Runners are required to bring the mandatory items throughout the entire race. Random checks will be performed by the race officials before and during the race. Failure to comply or the mandatory items are not functioning, participants are will incur a penalty or not allowed to continue the race and will be disqualified. Any decision made is at the organizer's discretion and it will be final.

Special Needs Bag

Only 70KM & 50KM runners can drop their special needs bag at Check Point (will be finalise by 1 August 2020) so runners can plan properly the additional supply they may require throughout the race course. Runners must provide their own bags, label it with bib number, secure them firmly and deposit at least 1 hour before flag off.

All belonging must be collected before 11:00am on Sunday (20 September). The organizer take no responsibility for the contents of the bag, for theft or loss of item.

Drop Bag

All participants may utilize the service provided at the starting line to drop off any bags that you will require post-race in advance. Runners must provide their own bags, label it with bib number, secure them firmly and deposit at least 1 hour before flag off.

All belonging must be collected before 11:00am on Sunday (10 November). The organizer take no responsibility for the contents of the bag, for theft or loss of item.

Did Not Finish (DNF)

You will be considered as DNF too if you unable to reach the designated Check Point within the cut off time. Kindly cooperate with the official on duty and allow them to carry out the DNF procedure.

If you decided to quit during the race, kindly report to the nearest Check Point and follow further instruction by the officials. You may return to the finish line by yourself or in case of injuries, wait for medical assistant.

DNF participants are not entitled for finisher items.

Disqualified (DQ)

You will be disqualified (DQ) if you were found cheating by taking shortcuts, use any sort of vehicle for assistance, do not carry the mandatory items or commit any act harmful to other runners and officials.

DQ participants are not entitled for finisher items.

Medical & Insurance

  1. There will be medical personnel on standby at the race site.
  2. Ambulance service is on standby as well for emergency cases.
  3. Participants are responsible to ensure that they are fit and healthy before starting the race. Please consult your doctor if there is any doubt.
  4. Participants are to accept the risk associated with the event as per indemnity clause stated in the registration form.
  5. The organizer will not be held responsible for any claim resulted from this event.
  6. It is recommended that you have personal accident insurance or health insurance.
  7. Organiser will only provide insurance scheme Group Personal Accident (Short Period).

Terms & Conditions

CAMELBAK ULTRA TRAIL 2020 (CAMTRA) is open to all runners.

REGISTRATION

  1. Any online registration that is not followed up with online payment will become invalid registration.
  2. No refund will be made for wrongful or multiple registration.
  3. Upon confirmation of participant, change of category, t-shirts size or other details will not be entertained.
  4. No multiple entries per participant.
  5. Age qualification taken as of 31st December 2020.
  6. Authorization must be given by parents/guardians of participants under 18 years of age.

TIMING CHIPS / E-CERTIFICATE
Timing Chips will be used for all categories except 5km Fun Trail Run and successful Finishers may download their E-certificate from the dedicated website after the event closes.

LIABILITY & RESPONSIBILITY

  1. The applicant shall be responsible for the accuracy and correctness of the information provided in the registration form. The Organizer of the Event (or "CAMTRA 2020") shall not be responsible in any way whatsoever to check and verify the information and/or consent so given.
  2. The applicant/participant hereby acknowledges that he/she takes part in the CAMTRA 2020 at his/her own risks and he/she shall assume full liability and responsibility for any mishap, injury, damage, accident, ill health, death and hereby releases and holds the Organizer, their sponsors and their appointed officials harmless from any liability.
  3. Where the applicant/participant is accompanied by the Third Party, the applicant/participant shall ensure that the Third Party is aware and agree that he/she takes part in the CAMTRA 2020 at his/her own risks and the applicant/participant shall assume full liability and responsibility for any mishap, injury, damage, accident, ill health, death of the Third Party and hereby releases and holds the Organizer, their sponsors and their appointed officials harmless from any liability.
  4. By participating, the participant is assumed to be fit and able to participate and/or complete the CAMTRA 2020 and where applicable, had consulted his/her medical practitioner.
  5. The participant shall run on the designated route and observe the signage and/or safety regulations
  6. The participant shall prepare his/her own refreshments/food.
  7. All prize winners will be required to produce legal proof of identification and age in order to be eligible for prizes. Riders who fail to do so will have their rank and prizes forfeited.

RIGHTS OF ORGANIZER

  1. The Organizer reserves the right to amend the Route as the Organizer deems fit and any amendments/variations will be made known by way of notice posted ONLINE and such other form as the Organizer may decide and the participant is deemed to have due notice of the same. The Organizer shall not be liable for any other loss or inconvenience caused due to such amendments/variations.
  2. The Organizer reserves the right to delay and/or cancel the event upon occurrence of any event beyond the control of the Organizer including (but not limited to) acts of God, flood, fire, embargo, riot, war, natural disaster or any event constituting force majeure and for the purpose stated in Clause 2, with refund of fee (subject on approval).
  3. The Organizer reserves the right to remove any participant whom in the Organizer's sole opinion, is guilty of jostling, obstructing or involves in act of aggression against another.
  4. The Organizer reserves the right to remove any participant the Organizer is of the sole opinion, physically unfit or appears to be unfit or incapable of continuing/completing the Route.
  5. The Organizer reserves the right to use the names, photographs and video recordings taken before, during and after event for purposes of advertising and/or publicity without any prior notice to the applicant/participant and the applicant/participant shall not claim ownership or compensation for the materials.
  6. No pets, or any form of wheel-run objects of transport e.g. inline skates, push cars, shoes with built-in or attached rollers is allowed on the Route or in the vicinity of the Route except official race marshals and medical vehicles.
  7. By applying and participating, the applicant/participant hereby expressly agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and the decision of the Organizer. The applicant/participant hereby gives his/her consent to and authorizes the Organizer to disclose his/her particulars to third party service providers and/or sponsors appointed and/or collaborated in relation to the event.
  8. The Organizer's decision on all matters relating to the event shall be final and binding and no further correspondence or attempt to dispute such decision will be entertained.
  9. The Organizer reserves the rights to change, amend, delete or add to the terms and conditions of the event without prior notice and the applicant/participant shall be bound by such changes.

WAIVER

  1. I have read, understood and accepted the Terms and Conditions applicable to the CAMTRA 2020 (the "Event").
  2. I fully understand, acknowledge and agree that I enter the Event at my own risk. I accept full responsibility and assume full liability for all such risks including any mishap, body injury, death, damage, accident, ill-health and hereby release and hold the Organizer harmless from any liability arising from my entry into the Event.
  3. I hereby represent, warrant and undertake to the Organizer the following with full knowledge that they shall be relied upon by the Organizer in accepting my participation:-
    • My personal particulars disclosed herein are true, accurate and correct;
    • I have no medical condition that would affect my safety and physical well-being arising from my participation in the Event and that I am medically and physically fit and competent to participate in the Event;
    • I shall fully abide by the Terms and Conditions of the Event and any applicable laws.
  4. I confirm that the representations, warranties and undertakings stated in Clause 3 hereinabove are true and correct and I (and my heirs, successors and assigns) shall waive, release, discharge and undertake that I (and my heirs, successors and assigns) shall not make any claims or lodge any complaints whatsoever against the Organizer, Sponsors or officials of the Event for the results of the Event and/or the lucky draw, actions taken by the Organizer, any injury, death or losses/damages to property sustained during the Event.
  5. Further I (my heirs, successors and assigns) shall indemnify and hold the Organizer, Sponsors, appointed officials/suppliers harmless from any claim, demand, proceedings, costs, expenses liabilities loss or damage (whether direct or consequential) made by third parties, arising from my breach of the representations, warranties and undertakings under Clause 3 hereinabove and/or breach of the Terms and Conditions of the Event.
  6. Authorization has een given by parents/guardians of participants under 18 years of age with their own responsibility.
