Virtual Run Details

The objective of this virtual run is to promote & celebrate the inaugural Hutan Ration Ultra (HRU) in 2022. This will be the first Ultramarathon race in East Coast of Malaysia, especially in state of Terengganu.

Notes:
There will be one time cost for shipping/courier/postage of items (medal/t-shirt) – RM8 (Peninsular Malaysia) & RM18 (Sabah & Sarawak). Additional cost will be incurred if first delivery attempt is unsuccessful.

Medal & t-shirt will be ship out after the conclusion of this virtual run, starting 1st September 2021.

Special note for our participants from Brunei, we will send your entitlements via Faiz Ghani (Passion Ku) once this VR is completed. Shipping cost will be collected and paid to Passion Ku as our agent in Brunei, exact shipping cost will be calculated once registration is closed.

Date and period

Hutan Ration Ultra (HRU) Virtual Run will commence from 1st August 2021 (00:01 am) until 31st August 2021 (11:59pm) (GMT+8).

Venue

Hutan Ration Ultra (HRU) Virtual Run 2021 will take place anywhere deemed safe by participants to complete your registered category of 10km, 25km, 50km or 100km. Please follow your district or state S.O.P when performing exercises.

Participants may choose to run, walk or jog to perform your attempts. Cycling or using any other methods apart from run, walk or jog will not be counted into total calculation of the final mileage.

Registration

CPS will open registration starting on 10th July 2021 and closed on 10th August 2021.

How to complete the event?

Participants are required to follow the category format fixed by the organizer for this virtual run. Once completed, participants are to login to our designated portal and upload your result for leaderboard viewing.

100KM PARTICIPANTS
Participants for this category are required to complete 4 attempts of 25km in a single run, within the date of 1st August 2021 until 31st August 2021. Participants are given 4 hours as cut off time to complete each 25km run. Participants must obey to the category format as proposed by the organizer. The organizer will only acknowledge 25km for each run result uploaded, and the exceeded mileage will not be carried forward as your second run. ​

50KM PARTICIPANTS
Participants for this category are required to complete 2 attempts of 25km in a single run, within the date of 1st August 2021 until 31st August 2021. Participants are given 4 hours as cut off time to complete each 25km run. Participants must obey to the category format as proposed by the organizer. The organizer will only acknowledge 25km for each run result uploaded, and the exceeded mileage will not be carried forward as your second run.

25KM PARTICIPANTS
Participants for this category are required to complete 25km in a single run, within the date of 1st August 2021 until 31st August 2021. Participants are given 4 hours as cut off time to complete the 25km run.

10KM PARTICIPANTS
Participants for this category are required to complete 10km in a single run, within the date of 1st August 2021 until 31st August 2021. Participants are given 4 hours as cut off time to complete the 10km run

Runner with the least amount of time to complete the registered category will be declared as overall winner.

Eligibility

  • You need to be above 18 years old to participate in this virtual event. Written parental consent are required if you are below 18 years of age.
  • All runners with postal address based in Malaysia are eligible.
  • Due to COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, we can only send events items (medal, t-shirt etc. based in Malaysian address).
  • If you are runners based outside Malaysia, you may use your friends’ address for registration purpose.
  • Participants from Brunei please use your postal address in Brunei, we will send all the entitlements after this VR event via our agent in Brunei (Passion Ku)

Lucky Draw

A live session of lucky draws for this Virtual Events will take place after 1st September 2021 via social media (either Facebook or Instagram). We will inform all participants once we confirm the suitable date.

Terms and Conditions

  • The Organizer reserves the right to close entries before the deadline without any notice once the race quota is full. Entry forms will only be processed upon receipt of full payment of the entry fee. ​​
  • The Organizer reserves the right to limit and refuse entries without reason.
  • The Organizer reserves the right to contact and to interview any applicants by phone or otherwise for additional information required for matters relating to their applications.
  • The Organizer shall bear the rights to disqualify any participants who are deem to cheat in any way in this virtual event.
  • After completed the registration, there will be no fee refund for a Participant who does not eventually take part in the race, for any reason whatsoever.
  • Each Participant must ensure his/her health condition, is fit before participating in this virtual running event. Each Participant shall be responsible for his/her own health/condition. The Organizer shall not be responsible for personal injury or death during or after this virtual event.
  • Participants must provide true and accurate information to the organizer. Any wilful dishonesty may render a participant's entry invalid and the organizer reserve the right to amend or cancel such participant's entry without compensation.
