Jeju Virtual Run 2021

Jeju Special Self –Governing Province with the support of Korea Tourism Organization Malaysia is proudly inviting everyone to join our 1^st ever virtual run event, RUN to Jeju Virtual Run 2021. We organize this virtual run with the high hopes and spirits of promoting healthy lifestyle while keeping the beauty of Jeju Island close to your heart and mind. Let’s Get Healthy, Let’s Refresh Yourself in Nature and Let’s RUN to Jeju now!

Take up the challenge and you can choose to run 5km, 10km, 21km or 42km. For early bird registrations (up to 400 pax), you may receive an official special edition T-shirt , commemorative medal and a special gift from Jeju Island which will be delivered to you by courier after the completion of your activity. All participants shall receive e-Bib upon registration and e-Certificate after completing the run.

1. First, register online.
2. The Virtual run period on 5^th June – 21^st June 2021.
3. Upon completion of your selected activity, send an application screenshot to https://vr.checkpointspot.asia/ of your results to indicate that you have completed your activity. Participants may join #RUNtoJeju Instagram event to stand a chance to win more consolation prizes.

Announcement

• All categories registrants are entitled to compete in the Longest Distance Run (Special Grand Prize).
• Participants are allowed to only enter in 1 (one) category (Ex: 5km, 10km, 21km, 42km).
• Add on the distances is allowed.

*Please be noted that all prizes are subject to availability

1. All runners may run anywhere, indoor or outdoor (including treadmill).
2. All runners can submit as many runs as they like but only the runs selected in the system will be included into the leaderboard.
3. Results are verified based on data submitted by participants and The Organiser has the right to contact the runner to ask for further information.
4. The Organiser has the right to disqualify and void any submission that is suspicious and inconclusive.
5. Late submission will not be entertained.
6. The publication of the leaderboard is on best effort basis, subject to available information for verification and is not an endorsement of the accuracy of the results.
7. Completed submission refer to accuracy and complete data with in as below:
   1. Name
   2. Bib No
   3. With-in submission period
   4. Distance proof
   5. Pace proof
   6. Heartbeat proof
   7. Stride proof
   8. Completion of the distance (based on category)
   9. Total number of submission selected (less submission = higher rank)
   10. Total time taken (total of all submission selected)
8. Participants must submit an official registration form with the correct information.
9. All submissions are considered final. No changes may be made to the event category or sizes (If any) after submission.
10. Participants can opt to take part in 1 (One) category only.
11. All categories registrants are entitled to compete in the Longest Distance Run .
12. All decision made by the management are final.

Safety

1. Participants must ensure they adhere to current Covid-19 safety guidelines as laid down by the government of Malaysia, and practice safe social distancing measures at all times.
2. Participants taking part in RUN to Jeju Virtual Run 2021 do so entirely at their own risk and are fully responsible for selecting a safe route to cycle.
3. RUN to Jeju Virtual Run 2021 involves a level of sustained physical activity. The organiser cannot be held accountable for aggravation to illness or injury sustained due to participation in this activity.
4. We strongly advise that all participants wear the appropriate attire to ensure a safe and enjoyable activities.

How to provide proof of your run apps.

1. Please submit a screenshot/photo of any run apps and submit to https://vr.checkpointspot.asia/ upon completion of the virtual run. This will be updated on the leaderboard.
2. Early bird registrations will receive a RUN to Jeju kit by courier, which will include your T-shirt, medal and special gift from Jeju Island starting from 21^st June 2021 onward.
3. The Organiser reserves the right to update the terms and conditions relating to the virtual run as it deems proper prior to the event.
