Shah Alam Fun Run 2022

• TROPHY winner open for all participant (bib compulsory during event day)
• All winner will check by organiser 1st (check point item)
• All Winner compulsory wear event t-shirt for ceremony.
• Race bib number must be worn at all times during the race. Bib number should be pinned in front of your running shirt.
• LUCK DRAW winner must bring BIB NO to the organzier.

• The race is open to all Malaysian.
• Participant below 18 years old must have his entry form signed by a parent / guardian.
• Participants who completed the online registration agreed to abide by the rules and regulations of the event.
• The organizer reserves the right to modify or substitute any of these rules and regulations of the race from time to time as they deem fit.
• Upon confirmation of participant, change to category, t-shirts size or other detail will not be entertained.
• Race entry is non-transferable. Those who running with an unauthorized race number will be disqualified.
• ‘NO FINISHER MEDAL’ for this event.
• The organizer decision is final.
• Safety and health measures: The participant should be free from any medical, physical, mental disability and chronic/infectious disease which would deem it unsafe to participate in the race.
• Each runner must ensure his/her health condition is fit before participating and during the race. Each runner shall be responsible with his/her own health/condition.The Organizer reserves the right to disallow/ disqualify any person who is known or suspected to be physically unfit to participate in the event.
• The Organizer reserves the right to close entries before the deadline without any notice once the race quota is full.
• Registration will only be processed upon receipt of full payment of entry fee.
• The Organizer reserves the right to limit and refuse entries without reason.
• The Organizer reserves the right to contact and to interview applicants by phone or otherwise for additional information required for matters relating to their applications.
• Entry fees are non-refundable.
• The Organizer reserves the right to refuse entries once the entry is accepted if any applicants provide false information, do not make the required payment, or fail to meet entry requirements as stated in the entry form.



E-CERTIFICATE
Qualified finisher may download E-certificate from dedicated website within 1 weeks after event day.

REGISTRATION

• All registration must be made through dedicated website/mobile apps and payment through online banking and credit/debit card.
• NO MULTIPLE ENTRIES PER PARTICIPANT.
• Participants with cardio-logical history are advised to consult your doctor prior registration.

MEDICAL
• There will be ambulance to assist for minor injury, any emergency case will be referred to the nearest clinic/hospital.
• Participants are responsible to ensure they are fit and healthy before starting the race. Please consult your doctor if there is any doubt

WET WEATHER
• If it rains before the event: Runners are to proceed to race venue for further instructions.
• If there are any delays, announcements will be made at the event ground
• If the bad weather persists past 7:00am, the race will be cancelled.
• If it rains during the race: Announcements will be mad by the marshals along the running route to advice participants to take shelter. participants can proceed with the run at their own risk.
• Race will be call off immediately for the safety purposes

PARTICIPANT WAIVER
• By participating I/we accept all risks necessarily resulting from my participation, which would result in loss of life or permanent injury. Accordingly, I will not be held liable all people associated with the conduct of events and will release them against all matters arising from my participation in event. For clarification, the people released include event organizers, promoters, sponsors, managers, officers, employees, agents, contractors and volunteers including event medical and paramedical personnel and every personnel invited and asked to be involve in the event by the organizers. This release and indemnity continue forever and binds my heirs, executors, personal representatives and assignees.
• I/we understand that I park my vehicle at my own risk and assume organizers to not hold any responsibility for loss of or damage to my vehicle.
• I/we acknowledge that the event involves real risk of serious injuries, or risk of death, from various causes including over exertion, equipment failure, dehydration, accidents with other competitors, spectators and road users, the course and weather conditions, just to name a few.
• I/we understand that I should not participate in the event unless I have prepared appropriately, and my physical condition has been verified by a medical practitioner.
• I/we understand that the information that I have provided herein will be included in the organizer database. I also understand that information of a biological nature including my name, date of birth, home state, results, career highlights and interests may be released to the media in response to general requests.
• I/we agree to abide by all the Rules of organizers which relate, in part, to safe and fair sporting practices.
• I/we grant organizers unconditional rights to use at their discretion photographic pictures and personal information in any form of media, art, advertising, trade, visual documentary, promotional material, merchandise or film coverage of any kind without compensation to me. I also waive the right to inspect and/or approve the finished product or the copy that may be used in connection therewith, or the use to which it may be applied.
• I/we have permission from my family and related sport associations to compete in this event.

DISCLAIMERS CLAUSE
• The Organizer reserves the right to modify or substitute any of these rules and regulations of the Event from time to time as they deem fit. If there is ambiguity in any of the provisions, the Organizer shall be the authority to interpret. Any updates on the rules and regulations of the event will be notified on the official FB page SHAH ALAM FUN RUN and it is the responsibility of the affected participant to keep abreast with any changes.
• There will strictly be no fee refund if the event is cancelled for reason of force due to weather or occurrence of incidents that are beyond the control of the Organizer or acts of God which renders it impossible or unsafe to hold the event.
• While every reasonable precaution will be taken by the Organizer to ensure the participants’ safety, participants run solely at their own risk and the Organizer will not be responsible or held liable for any injury or death howsoever arising from training for, during, or after participation in the Event. Participants are strongly encouraged to go for a medical examination and/or consult their medical practitioner prior to registration and before the actual Event day.
• The Organizer reserves the right to use any photographs (including those of participants), motion pictures, recordings, or any other media records of the Event, for any legitimate purpose including commercial advertising and distribution to Sponsors anywhere in the world.
• Race kit not collected on the date stated is deeming unwanted and The Organizer reserves the right to dispose them.
• The organizer and its agent will not be held responsible for any issues relating to parking at the venue, due to losses suffered in the event of break in or vandalism to the vehicles of participants. Proper vigilance must be exercised by all participants when parking their vehicles.
