World Cancer Day 2022 Virtual Run

World Cancer Day is celebrated internationally on the 4^th of February every year. This year campaign’s theme, “Close the Care Gap” is all about understanding and recognising the inequities in cancer care around the globe. It is a reminder that everyone is entitled to the fair, equitable cancer care that they need.

For the year 2022, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Ministry of Health Malaysia and National Cancer Institute will be organising the ‘World Cancer Day 2022 Virtual Run’ for the SECOND time!

• Registration is open to all Malaysians or non-Malaysians, men and women, and children aged 6 years and above.
• Participants can run, jog or walk anytime and anywhere that is safe, within house area or on a treadmill.
• All participants are reminded to obey the current Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) issued by Malaysian National Security Council (MKN) on outdoor exercises.
• Participants will need a running apps / tracking device to record time and distance of your run (step counter/pedometer are not allowed).
• You can split the distance to as many times as you wish (maximum 5 times) as long as the accumulated distance reach the run category chosen.

   1. Self-collection option is ONLY available for participants residing or working in Putrajaya district. Once selected for self-collection, any request to change to postage delivery WILL NOT be entertained.
   2. Entitlements are available for collection either at Aras 2, Blok E3, Kompleks E, Presint 1 Putrajaya OR Unit Pendidikan Kesihatan, Aras 4, Institut Kanser Negara Putrajaya.
   3. Please refer to the Collection Schedule below. To adhere to current COVID-19 SOP, Organiser will be reaching out to registered participants via email (after running period ends) with the designated date and time slots for self-collection.

   5. Any changes to the collection schedule (date and time slot) for self-collection of race entitlements will be notified to registered participants via email.

2. Penganjur menggalakkan kesemua peserta yang berdaftar di acara Larian Virtual ini untuk menyelesaikan larian mereka sebelum 28 Februari 2022.
   The Organizer encourages all who intend to sign up for this Virtual Run category to complete their run before 28 February 2022.
3. Peserta diminta untuk memuat naik bukti larian mereka bersama-sama dengan maklumat peserta dengan:
   1. Melayari laman web checkpointspot.asia
   2. Log masuk menggunakan nombor Kad Pengenalan dan ID pendaftaran pada slip penyertaan
   3. Muat naik keputusan larian anda dan bukti larian

Runners are required to upload proof of their runs together with runner’s details at:

a. checkpointspot.asia
b. login with your NRIC and registration ID on your confirmation slip 

c. Upload your run results and proof of distance

1. Bukti larian boleh diberikan di dalam bentuk tangkapan skrin telefon (screenshot) dari aplikasi larian pilihan anda atau gambar daripada alat penjejak yang digunakan. Gambar yang dimuatnaik mestilah di dalam format JPEG.
   Proof may be in the form of phone screenshots of your preferred running apps or image from your wearable devices. Images uploaded must be in JPEG format.

1. LARIAN VIRTUAL HARI KANSER SEDUNIA 2022 dianjurkan oleh Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia dan Institut Kanser Negara. Larian in terbuka kepada semua yang mempunyai alamat tetap di Malaysia.
   WORLD CANCER DAY 2022 VIRTUAL RUN is organised by Ministry of Health Malaysia and Institut Kanser Negara. It is open to everyone who has a valid address in Malaysia.
2. Untuk pendaftaran antarabangsa, hanya peserta yang menetap di negara Singapore, Brunei, Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Laos, Myanmar, Philippines dan Vietnam sahaja dibenarkan untuk mendaftar. Pendaftaran berkumpulan tidak dibenarkan bagi pos luar negara.
   For international registration, only participants residing in Singapore, Brunei, Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Laos, Myanmar, Philippines and Vietnam are allowed to register. Group registration is NOT allowed for international postage.
3. Untuk membendung penularan wabak COVID-19 ini, peserta diminta untuk mematuhi Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) terkini yang dikeluarkan oleh Majlis Keselamatan Negara (MKN) bagi aktiviti riadah.
   In order to fight against COVID-19 infection, all participants need to obey the current Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) issued by Malaysian National Security Council (MKN) on outdoor exercises.
4. Peserta dikehendaki untuk mengemukakan maklumat peribadi yang benar, tepat, terkini dan lengkap semasa pendaftaran.
   All participants warrant to provide true, accurate, current and complete personal information during registration.
5. Pengesahan penyertaan hanya sah dengan pembayaran yuran yang disyaratkan.
   The confirmation of participation is ONLY VALID with the confirmed payment of the required fee.
6. Slip pengesahan akan dihantar ke alamat e-mel yang berdaftar beserta slip E-bib setelah pembayaran berjaya dibuat. Sekiranya slip pengesahan tidak diterima dalam masa 7 hari bekerja dari tarikh pendaftaran, peserta harus memaklumkan kepada pihak penganjur.
   Upon successful payment, a confirmation slip will be sent to the participant's registered email address with e-bib number. If such confirmation slip is not received within 7 working days from the successful registration date, the participant should contact the Organizer.
7. Setelah pendaftaran berjaya, sebarang pertukaran butiran termasuk penukaran saiz baju akan dikenakan bayaran tambahan sebanyak RM10.
   After successful registration, change of details including shirt size will cost an extra RM10.
8. Tiada pemulangan yuran pendaftaran kepada semua peserta yang telah mendaftar.
   All entries are NOT TRANSFERABLE, NOT REFUNDABLE AND NOT DEFERRABLE.
9. Semua peserta boleh berlari, berjogging atau berjalan di mana-mana tempat yang selamat, di dalam Kawasan rumah ataupun menggunakan treadmill, pada bila-bila masa di antara 4 Februari 2022 hingga 28 Februari 2022.
   Participants may run, jog or walk anywhere that is safe, within house area or on a treadmill, anytime from 4^th February 2022 until 28^th February 2022.
10. Peserta perlu merekodkan aktiviti menggunakan apa-apa jenis aplikasi larian (strava, Garmin, Fitbit, Samsung app, dan sebagainya) dan menghantar butiran screen shot tracking device sebagai bukti larian.  Sekiranya menggunakan treadmill, peserta boleh menghantar gambar paparan skrin treadmill yang menunjukkan jumlah jarak dan masa aktiviti yang telah dilakukan, sebagai bukti larian.
    Participants need to track their activity using any running apps (strava, Garmin, Fitbit, Samsung app, etc.) and submit a screen shot of tracking device as proof of distance. If you are using treadmill, you need to upload a picture of your treadmill screen that shows the distance and time taken for activity done as proof of distance.
11. Peserta BOLEH MEMBAHAGIKAN JARAK LARIAN sebanyak beberapa kali yang diingini (maksima 5 kali) selagi jarak terkumpul mencapai jarak kategori larian yang dipilih. Tiada cut off time bagi semua kategori larian.
    Participants CAN SPLIT THE DISTANCE to as many times as you wish (maximum 5 times) as long as the accumulated distance reach the run category chosen. There will be no cut off time.
12. Acara ini bukan sebentuk perlumbaan, tidak akan ada PEMENANG tetapi akan ada Leaderboard.
    This is not a race, there will be NO WINNER but there will be a leaderboard.
13. Peserta boleh memuat naik keputusan dan bukti larian pada bila-bila masa semasa tempoh larian (4 Februari 2022 hingga 28 Februari 2022). Sekiranya peserta tidak dapat menghantar keputusan dan bukti larian pada masa yang ditetapkan, mereka akan dianggap tidak layak dan dianggap sebagai Did Not Start (DNS) di Leaderboard.
    You may upload your submission and screenshot at any time during the race period (4^th February 2022 until 28^th February 2022 at 12am). If participants are unable to submit the result before end of 28 FEBUARY 2022, they will be considered as disqualified and considered as Did Not Start (DNS) at Leaderboard.
14. Kit larian akan diberikan kepada peserta yang berjaya menghantar keputusan dan menamatkan jarak larian dalam tempoh yang ditetapkan.
    Running entitlements will be given to participants who has successfully submitted and completed registered run category within race period.
15. Peserta mestilah mempunyai tahap kecergasan yang layak untuk menyertai acara ini. Penganjur tidak akan bertanggungjawab atas sebarang kemalangan, kecederaan atau kecelekaan yang berlaku semasa menyertai acara larian virtual ini.
    Participants must be certified fit to participate in this event. The organiser shall not be liable for any accident, injuries or mishap that happen in participating the Virtual Run event.
16. Semua peserta di bawah umur 18 tahun memerlukan persetujuan ibu bapa semasa membuat pendaftaran.
    All participants under the age of 18 need parental consent during registration.
17. Semua ukuran T-shirt tertakluk kepada perbezaan sebanyak 1-2cm.
    All T-shirts measurement are subject to 1-2cm tolerance.
18. Warna, reka bentuk dan bahan pembuatan barang dagangan mungkin berbeza daripada ilustrasi dan boleh berubah tanpa notis.
    All merchandises’ colour, design and material may be different from illustration and are subject to change without notice.
19. Bayaran pendaftaran adalah dalam matawang Ringgit Malaysia (RM).
    Registration fees will be charged in Malaysian Ringgit (RM).
20. Pihak penganjur boleh menghubungi peserta pada bila-bila masa melalui emel atau pesanan teks. Segala notis yang dihantar melalui alamat emel yang didaftarkan dengan penganjur akan dianggap telah diterima oleh peserta. Sekiranya peserta memberikan maklumat yang tidak tepat, tidak benar, tidak terkini dan tidak lengkap, atau penganjur berhak untuk mengesyaki bahawa maklumat tersebut tidak tepat, tidak benar, tidak terkini atau tidak lengkap, penganjur boleh menamatkan atau memansuhkan pendaftaran dan bayaran peserta tidak akan dikembalikan.
    The Organiser may contact the Participants at any time by e-mail or text message. Any notice sent to the e-mail address registered with the Organiser shall consider as received by the Participants. If the Participants provide any information that is inaccurate, untrue, not current or incomplete, or the Organiser has rights to suspect that such information is inaccurate, untrue, not current or incomplete, the Organiser may suspend or terminate the Participants’ registration and fees will not be refund.
21. Sekiranya terdapat pemulangan bungkusan hantaran atas apa-apa sebab atau atas permintaan peserta, pihak penganjur akan mengatur penghantaran semula tetapi caj penghantaran akan ditanggung oleh peserta.
    If there is a returned of parcel to whatever reason; upon request, the organizers will arrange to resend the parcel but the delivery charges will be borne by participants.
22. Sebarang penukaran alamat selepas pendaftaran berjaya akan dikenakan bayaran tambahan.
    Any address changes after registration will incurred additional charges.
23. Pihak Penganjur berhak untuk menggunakan apa-apa gambar (termasuk gambar peserta), gambar bergerak, rakaman atau rakaman media berkaitan dengan acara larian virtual ini, untuk digunakan bagi tujuan lain yang berkaitan termasuk iklan komersial dan pengedaran kepada Penganjur.
    The Organiser reserves the right to use any photographs (including those of Participant), motion pictures, recordings, or any other media records of the Event, for any legitimate purpose including commercial advertising and distribution to the Organiser.
24. Penganjur berhak untuk mengubah Terma dan Syarat acara pada bila-bila masa, mengikut budi bicara mutlaknya, tanpa sebarang notis pemberitahuan.
    The organiser has the rights to amend the Terms & Conditions at any time at its sole discretion without any prior notice.
