Rules & Regulations

RULES & REGULATIONS JITRA HALF MARATHON 2023

 

  1. Participants under 18 must have their parents or legal guardian sign the registration form.
  2. Registrations only for Malaysians.
  3. After participation has been confirmed, changes to the category or other details will not be accepted. Any category change necessitates a fresh registration.
  4. The organiser reserves the right to decline, accept, or reject any entries without providing a reason or previous explanation.
  5. Once registration is complete and payment has been received, entry fees are NON TRANSFERABLE, NON REFUNDABLE, AND NON DEFERABLE for individuals who, for any reason(s), choose not to participate in the event.
  6. The organiser maintains the right to change the event's date, time, or location as they see fit. If this event must be cancelled due to circumstances beyond the control of the organiser, there will be no refunds offered.
  7. Every participant in the event must wear their race number visible at all times. Participants will be eliminated from the race if they don't follow the rules.
  8. Participants participate in this event at their own risk, and the organiser, their sponsors, and their designated officials shall not be liable for any death or injury, loss or damage, suffered or otherwise and however arising. The organiser will take all reasonable measures to ensure the safety of participants.
  9. The complete route needs to be run by participants on the specified path. Disqualification will occur if this is not done.
  10. Should a participant break the rules and regulations, the organizer maintains the right to stop them from continuing in the race.
  11. The organiser reserves the right, at any time, to change or replace any of these rules and regulations for the event. The Organiser will have the ability to interpret any provisions that are unclear and will do so while taking into account the interests of all Participants who may be impacted.
