Terms and Conditions for Participation in Columbia Asia Hospital - Bukit Jalil SIHAT! Community Carnival
These terms and conditions ("Terms") outline the rules and regulations for participation in Columbia Asia Hospital - Bukit Jalil SIHAT! Community Carnival organized by Paxgon Communications Sdn Bhd (“Paxgon”). By registering for and participating in the event, you agree to abide by these Terms.
Registration and Participation:
1.1 Participants must complete the registration process and provide accurate and up-to-date information.
1.2 Participants must be in good health and physically prepared to undertake the event.
1.3 Participants must agree to the liability waiver and release provided during registration.
1.4 Participants will be able to select their preferred category, either 3km or 5km, during registration. Participants are advised to follow the road signs on the event day.
Event Guidelines:
2.1 Participants must follow the instructions provided by the event organizers, staff, and volunteers.
2.2 Participants must comply with the event rules and regulations, including but not limited to the designated route and timing.
2.3 Participants are required to be familiar with and aware of the route and category they've chosen before the flag-off.
Safety and Health:
3.1 Participants must take full responsibility for their own health and safety during the event.
3.2 Participants are advised to consult a healthcare professional before participating if they have any health concerns.
Liability:
4.1 The event organizers, sponsors, and partners are not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages sustained before, during and after the event.
4.2 Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless the event organizers, sponsors, and partners from any claims arising from their participation.
Cancellation or Modification:
5.1 The event organizers reserve the right to cancel, modify, or reschedule the event due to unforeseen circumstances or force majeure.
5.2 In the event of cancellation, the organizers will communicate the process for refunds or credits to the participants.
Media Release:
6.1 Participants may be photographed, videotaped, or recorded during the event.
6.2 Participants grant the event organizers the right to use their likeness in promotional and marketing materials.
Data Privacy:
7.1 Participants' personal information collected during registration will be used solely for event-related communication and purposes.
Dispute Resolution:
8.1 Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved amicably through negotiation or mediation.
By registering and participating in Columbia Asia Hospital - Bukit Jalil SIHAT!, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
Paxgon reserves the right to amend these Terms at its discretion. Participants are advised to review the Terms periodically for any updates or changes.
