Welcome to Bukit Dinding Downhill Race 6.0. This is the 6th edition of the race organized by Scarfox Cycling Club. The race will take place at Bukit Dinding, Setiawangsa KL. The elevation of the hill is approximately 290 m and the downhill track is about 1.6 km consist of technical and high speed section with various jumps and drops.

Terms & Conditions

Upon registering, the Participants must agree to the Rules and Regulations of the Race.

For Junior Category, a letter of consent will be provided to the Participants on the Registration Day which must be signed by the Participants’ parent or guardian and to be submitted to the Organizer.

RACE BRIEFING

Race Briefing will be held at a later place and date (We’ll update the details in our FB page).

The Race Briefing is made COMPULSORY to all the Participants. Failure to attend the Race Briefing will not be an excuse for any violation to the updated Rules and Regulations of the Race (if any) that will be announced during the Race Briefing.

TRACK WALK

The Race track will be closed on 11 July 2024 (Thursday) to allow the track walk activity for the Participants. No bikes are allowed during this day. 

PRACTICE DAY

Official practice day is on 12 July 2024 (Friday) starting from 0800hrs to 1200hrs and 1430hrs to 1730hrs. Uplift service will be provided on the Practice Day. For safety reason and advised by our trail commissioner, practice is MANDATORY to all Participants by at least one (1) full run from start to finish. Failing to do so, the Participants will be automatically DISQUALIFIED for the Race. A sticker will be issued to the Participants at start when making practice run and it will be recognized by the Organizer to allow for Seeding Run on 13th July (Saturday) and the Race Day on 14th July (Sunday).

TIMING PROCEDURE

All Participants will be provided with a timing device (ProChip System Transponder) on

Seeding Run and Race Day. The supply of each device is subjected to:

- A cash deposit of RM200 per device, or

- Submitting the Participants’ Driving License or International Passport.

Participants will also be supplied with a rubber holder to hold the device and sufficient cable ties to fasten it on the LEFT side of the suspension fork.

Participants are FULLY RESPONSIBLE for their own timing device. Any loss or faulty caused by the

Participants’ negligence will be subject to a compensation charges of RM500 to the Organizer.

SEEDING RUN

The “Seeding Run” is to seed the Participants from the slowest to fastest for each category.

In the event where the weather is bad on the seeding day (before and/or during the race) as determined by the Organizer, the Participants will start to race according to their race plate number.

RACE DAY

In the event where the weather is bad on the Race Day (before and/or during the race) as determined by the Organizer, the Organizer reserves the right to continue, to suspend or ultimately to cancel the race. If the organizer decided to stop or cancel the race due to safety reasons, Seeding Run results will be applied to determine the winner for each category
