Terms and Conditions for Country Villas Merdeka Fun Run 2024
1. Eligibility
Age Requirement: Participants must be at least 7 years old. Participants under 12 must have parental or guardian consent.
Registration: All participants must complete the official registration process and provide accurate information.
2. Health and Safety
Medical Condition: Participants should be in good health and physically prepared to undertake the event. It is the participant's responsibility to ensure they are medically fit to participate.
Medical Assistance: On-site medical assistance will be available. Participants consent to receive medical treatment if necessary during the event.
3. Participation
Race Tee: Participants must wear the official race tee provided in their race kit.
Route: Participants must follow the designated route and comply with instructions from event officials and marshals.
4. Liability Waiver
Assumption of Risk: By participating, participants acknowledge the inherent risks associated with the event, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, effects of weather, and road conditions.
Release of Liability: Participants release [Event Organizer], its sponsors, and officials from any claims or liabilities of any kind arising from their participation in the event.
5. Cancellation and Refunds
Event Cancellation: The event may be cancelled or postponed due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to extreme weather, natural disasters, or public health concerns.
Refund Policy: No refund will be issued for cancellations or withdrawals. However, participants may transfer their registration to another person or to the rescheduled event date, if applicable.
6. Privacy and Data Protection
Personal Information: Participants' personal information will be collected and used for event administration and communication purposes in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
Photography and Media: Participants consent to the use of their images in photographs, videos, and other media taken during the event for promotional purposes.
7. Code of Conduct
Behaviour: Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner. Unsportsmanlike behaviour may result in disqualification.
Environment: Participants should respect the environment and dispose of waste properly.
8. Disqualification
Violation of Rules: Participants may be disqualified for not adhering to these terms and conditions or for any other reason deemed necessary by event officials.
