Enviro Cycling 2024

RULES AND REGULATIONS

Please read all of the Rules & Regulations carefully. Each individual who registers to participate in the Enviro Cycling 2024, in the case of a participant below the age of 18 years as at the date of registration, the participant’s parent, guardian or legal representative) (“Participants”) declares and acknowledges to have read, understood and agreed to the terms & conditions and undertakes to comply with and be bound by the same.

REGISTRATION

1. For all Riders under age 18, their parent or legal guardian must agree to fill in the indemnity form, when the participant is registering, failing which the Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry to that rider.
2. All participants must register online by providing their name, NRIC/Passport number, gender, contact number, email address, and emergency contact details.
3. The super early bird offer is available to individuals who register for Rakan Alam Sekitar’s members. Membership registration should be completed through the provided link on the registration form. Do insert the membership number on the registration form to qualify for the super early bird benefits.
4. Upon successful registration, each participant will receive a confirmation slip via email. The confirmation slip serves as the only valid evidence of registration. All participants are required to present their respective confirmation slips and/or identity card or passports during Race Entry Pack Collection.
5. Strictly NO CHANGES of name and race category after registration is completed. Please check and ensure all details are correct before submission. Registration is strictly non-transferable.
6. Participants are strictly not allowed to transfer their event entry to another party or change the Event categories after his/her registration is confirmed.
7. The Event is open to participants based on category.
8. MOUNTAIN Bikes or ROAD Bikes are allowed for 5km fun rides. 
9. Gravel Bike and Mountain Bike are allowed for 20km race rides.
10. TT bikes are not allowed.
11. Riders MUST NOT use MP3 Players, iPods, Walkman or other mobile music devices while riding.
12. All Riders must follow the designated routes.
13. The Organiser reserves the right to use any photographs, motion pictures, images, recordings, or any other record of the Event and its riders for any commercial advertising and other promotional purposes
14. The Event will take place regardless of bad weather and will only be canceled, re-routed or stopped in extreme circumstances for safety reasons. The final decision on this will rest with the Organiser and government officials.

RACE KIT COLLECTION 

1. 5KM FUN RIDE Race Kit consists of:
   • Jersey Tee
   • A Race Bib (without thin tag) & safety pins 
2. 20KM RACE RIDE Race Kit consists of:
   • Jersey Tee
   • A Race Bib (with thin tag) & safety pins 

• There will be a distribution of kits on race day starting from 6AM TO 7AM ONLY at The Hive, Gamuda Cove.
• Participants must place their bike plate facing forward, prominently as possible at the front of their Body/Bike. Riders found without their race bike plate numbers may be penalized or disqualified. Please ensure that the bike plate number is visible.

SAFETY 

• Whilst every reasonable precaution will be taken by the Organiser to ensure the Participant’s safety, Participant participates in the Event at their own risk. The Organiser will not be responsible or held liable for any injury or death, damage or loss of property, whether personal or otherwise, suffered or caused, arising from training for, during participation, or after participation in the Event. Participants are strongly advised to go for medical examination and/or consult their medical practitioner prior to registration and before the Date of the Event.
• Participant warrants that he/she is in good physical condition and has sufficient preparations and is able to safely participate in the Event. The Participant is fully aware of the risks and hazards inherent in participating in the Event, including the possibilities of serious physical trauma, injury or death.

RESULTS 

• The results of all categories will be verified by the Organiser and their decision is final.

MEDAL

• Finisher medals will be available for redemption at a designated area after the finishing line to Participants on the Event day. No claims will be entertained thereafter.
• Finisher medals will only be given to participants who complete the run within the qualifying time.

PRIZE 

• Winners must ensure that they collect their prizes after the race and upon announcement of results. All uncollected prizes will be forfeited.
• The Organiser reserves the right to request winners for identity cards or passports for age verification.
• Prize is only awarded to the 1st – 3rd  placing of the competitive run category (20KM) only.

CERTIFICATE 

• E-Certificate will be made available after seven (7) days from the Event day for Participants to download.
• E-Certificate will be available for download for a period of fifteen (15) days from the day that it was made available

COVE AEROBAR (ADULT/CHILD)

The crown jewel of Discovery Park. It is the 1st Aerobar in South East Asia and accommodates up to 16 passengers and a pilot on one ride. A 15 minutes ride where you can enjoy refreshment with an extraordinary panorama view of the entire Discovery Park and Paya Indah Discovery Wetlands development from the top of this remarkable 35 meter structure. The aerobar can accommodate 16 passengers in one ride. Passengers can also enjoy finger food from the Cove Aerobar Café. 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

1. With every ticket purchase, the participants will receive one entry pass for Cove Aerobar.
2. The participants can use the ticket on the same day as the event or at any time within the next three months. 
3. Ticket is valid from 26 May 2024 – 26 August 2024, except Malaysia School Holiday and Public Holiday.
4. Children aged below 10 years old must be accompanied by adults.
5. This attraction is strictly for participants with a minimum height of 105cm and above.
6. Participants with body sizes which do not allow safety devices to function properly, are not allowed to enter the ride.
7. Pregnant women, OKU (physical and mental disabilities), and children below 105 cm are STRICTLY prohibited from this attraction.
8. Guests with health issues such as heart problems are not recommended for this attraction.
9. The operation of Cove Aerobar may be delayed or postponed depending on the weather at the time in Discovery Park, Gamuda Cove.
10. ⁠Guests must adhere to the instructions given by the respective staff at all times.
11. Limited to one-time redemption per ticket.
12. This ticket is NOT refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other forms of legal tender or voucher of other denominations.
13. The Management of Discovery Park reserves the right to vary and amend the terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
14. This promo will not be valid with any other Promotions or Discounts.
15. Guests who do not follow the rules and regulations will be evicted from Discovery Park, Gamuda Cove.
16. The Management of Discovery Park shall not be liable for any lost, misplaced, or stolen belongings, and for any death, injury, damage, or loss howsoever caused at Discovery Park, Gamuda Cove.
