The first series of International Geopark Run 2024 is an exciting annual sporting event that brings together participants from around the world. It showcases the breathtaking beauty of Malaysian’s Geopark while challenging runners to conquer a half-marathon distance of 21 kilometers, 10km, and Fun Run of 5km. The event attracts both amateur and professional runners, creating a vibrant atmosphere of competition and camaraderie. Participants can expect a well-organized race with scenic routes, stunning tropical village views, and lush landscapes. The run also offers a platform to promote fitness, encourage healthy lifestyles, and foster community engagement and nevertheless to educate runners about Geopark.   • And for those collect on behalf/any relative/friend COMPULSORY to bring photocopy of id-card or passport together with confirmation slip from Checkpoint Spot
  • There will be NO race pack collection on the event day.

HEALTH REQUIREMENTS

Suffering the following medical conditions are not allowed to participate in this event.

  1. Congenital or rheumatic heart conditions
  2. Hypertension
  3. Myocarditis and other heart conditions
  4. Coronary heart disease, coronary arterial disease
  5. Serious arrhythmia
  6. Diabetes
  7. Any other disease which can be aggravated by running.

AGE REQUIREMENTS

You must be 18 years old, up to 60 years for 21km and 10km. And ages are open for 5km. Below 12 years old, participants must participate with their parents.

PAYMENT AND OTHER RULES

  1. All participants must submit their entries and payment online through the website.
  2. The Organizer shall not be responsible for any disputes arising from incomplete entry details.
  3. All entries are based on a first-come first-serve basis unless otherwise stated.
  4. International Geopark Run 2024 – Series 01 is open to all Malaysian citizen who hold a valid Malaysian Passport and/or Malaysian ID and International Participant who hold a valid Passport.
  5. Age qualification is taken as of 1st December 2023
  6. Runners aged below 16 must be accompanied and/or get permission from parents who will also be fully responsible for the children’s participation. Parent/Guardian who wish to accompany must register for the run.
  7. Once the registration is completed and payment has been made, entry fees for those who for whatever reason(s) do not take part in the event are NOT TRANSFERABLE, NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON DEFERRABLE.
  8. Race entry is non-transferable to unregistered runners. Those who are discovered to participate with an unauthorized race number will be disqualified.
  9. Upon confirmation of participation, change to the category or other details will not be entertained. Any change of category requires a new registration.
  10. The Organizer reserves the right to limit, accept or reject any entries without prior notice and
  11. The Organizer reserves the right to close entries before deadline without any notice or when the quota of a race/start is full.
  12. Completion of the registration form is an indication of the participant’s agreement to abide by the rules and regulations form shall be assumed received by the Participant.
