#OnHerTeamRun 2021

The capabilities of women has never been doubted by us here at BurdaLuxury KL. With the advancement of society, it is slowly getting apparent that women can absolutely do whatever men can do, if not even do better. From Jacinda Arden to Malaysia’s very own Dr. Wan Azizah, the strength of a woman should never be underestimated. In an affirmation to our commitment in celebrating women, BurdaLuxury KL presents #OnHerTeam Run.

#OnHerTeam Run is designed to encourage the public to step out of their house and engage in a safe exercise that also cultivates a healthy state of mind, while also providing a platform for experienced runners to run for a good cause. A tribute to the women who fights every day to not only support herself but also her children, RM10 from each registration will be donated to Yayasan Chow Kit to aid efforts in ensuring the wellbeing of these women and children, especially in such unprecedented times.

In a team of 3 that has to consist of both males and females, teams are encouraged to complete a distance of 300km all throughout the month of March. In the spirit of the run, all-male teams will not be allowed.

Upon completion of the #OnHerTeam Run in March, runners will receive a finisher’s tee and a finisher’s medal. A reward will also be given to individuals that achieve a personal record of 100km on their own.

Result submission deadline : 31st March 2021, 11:59pm

Registration Closing Date : 28 Feb 2021, 11:59pm

1. In a team of 3 that has to consist of both males and females, teams are encouraged to complete a distance of 300km all throughout the month of March.
2. In the spirit of the run, all-male teams will not be allowed.
3. After each individual run, participants are required to submit their run details recorded on their running apps such as Strava to Checkpoint Spot.
4. After each submission, the distance of the group will be automatically accumulated to 300km.
5. Upon finishing your accumulated 300km, upload your run (preferably through the Strava app) to https://vr.checkpointspot.asia​ for verification, to which an e-cert will be sent to you!

3. Upload run result (result must contain run time, date and distance)

1. What is a virtual run?
   
   A virtual run is a run that has no specific time and location, with runners being able to make their run anytime within the given run period, be it on the track or the treadmill.

2. How do I record my run?
   
   With running apps such as Strava and Nike Run Club, runners should record their runs for result submission.

3. Must I complete my distance in a single run?
   
   No, this run can be done in your own time; the distance can be split among your teammates as long as the total accumulated distance reaches 300km. 

4. When is the deadline for result submission?
   
   The deadline for result submission is on the March 31st, 11:59pm

5. When should I start running?
   
   You can start your run any time from March 1st -March 31st

1. Each team needs to complete 300km in total.
2. Change of participant details, refunds, as well as participation transfers are not allowed.
3. Runners who fail to abide by the result submission deadline will not be eligible for the e-cert.
4. Result submission must clearly indicate distance and timing of run, as well as date
