The ‘Terry Fox Run Kuala Lumpur 2024’ is open to all Malaysians, PR and expatriates with working permit and foreigners.
Participants below the age of 18 are required to obtain the consent of their parents/guardians before signing up for this event.
Participants who completed the online registration form agreed to abide by the rules and regulations of the event.
The organizer reserve the right to amend the rules & regulations at any time, at its sole discretion, without any prior notice.
Upon confirmation of participant, change of t-shirts size or other detail will not be entertained.
All donations are to be collected in ringgit Malaysia (RM).
Once participants registration has been duly processed, there will be NO refund for participants who do not eventually take part in the event for whatever reason.
All merchandises' color, design and material are subject to change without notice.
Any entitlement or any other merchandise and goodies not collected at the stipulated time shall be forfeited and any request thereafter will not be entertained. No refund will be entertained.
The participants have to abide all the rules and route specified by the organizer and ends at the venue as stated.
The organizer reserves the right to change or to cancel the event at any time without prior notice, in which case the organizer will make effort to inform prior to the date. If the event has to be cancelled, there shall be NO refund of donations and the organizer shall not be liable for any other loss or inconvenience caused. Any updates on the event including any changes to the rules & regulations will be posted on the Event's Official Facebook page.
There will be no refund of donations, if the event is cancelled for reason of force majeure i.e. due to occurrence of incidents that are beyond the control of the organizer (including but not limited to haze, storm, rain, inclement weather, wind, act of God, terrorism or other conditions) and which in the organizer’s opinion, renders it impossible or unsafe to hold the event.
The organizer reserves the right to use any photographs (including those of participants), motion pictures, recording or any other record of this event for legitimate purpose, including commercial advertising.
Safety and Health Measures:
The participant should be free from any medical, physical, mental disability and chronic/infectious disease which would deem it unsafe to participate in the event.
The organiser will take all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of participants. However, every participant is responsible for his/her involvement in the event. The organiser will not be liable for any injuries, mishaps, sickness, death or loss/damage to personal property that may occur during the walk.
