Criteria to qualified for Elite category

• Finished of any 100km trail events
• Finisher of Challenger or Elite category in Transnaning Ultra NS Challenge 2022.

Criteria to qualified for Legend category

• Finisher of Elite or Legend category in Transnaning Ultra NS Challenge 2022
• Finished 160km or above trail running event.
• Finished single or multi stage ultra-trail marathon more than 200km.
• Email to transnaningultrachallenge@gmail.com to apply.

Legend & Elite Category

• If there’s a finisher on the current year, 1 hour of the total COT will be taken out at the following year (Number of finisher doesn’t matter).
• The hour taken out shall be deduct, start from the first loop.
• With the new total COT, if there’s finisher again at the 2^nd year, the hour deducted will be follow by the 2^nd loop, and so on, and then back to the first loop.
• No COT will be deduct on the following year, if no finisher in the current event calendar.
• The finisher of the Legend category will be receive a grafted trophy, with your name & finishing time.

UTMB/TDG slot (Subject to won the ballot, registered and paid)

• TDG – GLACIERS 450KM – Free Entry Slot for Legend category 170KM ONLY.
• TDG – TOR 330KM – Free Entry Slot for Legend category 170KM ONLY.
• TDG - TORDRET 130KM – Free Entry Slot for ELITE Category 132KM or LEGEND category 170KM.
• UTMB - PTL 300KM – Free Entry Slot for LEGEND category 170KM ONLY, for the whole team of 2 or 3.
• UTMB 170KM – Free Entry Slot for LEGEND category 170KM ONLY.
• UTMB - TDS 143KM – Free Entry Slot for ELITE category 132KM or LEGEND category 170KM.
• UTMB - CCC 100KM – Free Entry Slot for CHALLENGER category 102KM ONLY.
• UTMB - OCC 55KM – Free Entry Slot for ULTRA category 68KM ONLY.
• Balloting rejected of either UTMB (PTL/UTMB/TDS/CCC/OCC) or TDG (GLACIERS/TDG/TORDRET) - Early Bird Price for the respective category (Price are subject to Admin Fee).
• All other ASEAN country’s Nationality who meet the above criteria, a discount price for the respective category.
• Successful Entry – 30% discount (based on Regular Price)
• Rejected Entry – Early Bird Price.

• All registration must be made online at CheckpointSpot
• Registrations fees are none transferable
• No cancellation of the registrations
• BiB transfer can only be done at Checkpoint Spot’s Market Place from 16/6/2023 – 30/6/2023
• 34KM and above category are open for 18 year and above.
• H2H and MK category open for age 16 year & above.

• Overall Top 10 for Classic, Ultra, & Challenger, Men & Women

• Top 3 for all age category for MK, Men & Women.
• Finisher of Elite category & Legend category will be award a special trophy of achievement, with positions & timing.
• Other finisher will be awarded a medal, finishing t-shirt, and e-Certificate of achievement.

SPECIAL ACHIVEMENTS AWARDS (NEW)

• Event Tee or sizes are following the gender.
• Finishing Tee are Male Size (Unisex).
• Please choose your T-shirt measurements according to the size chart.
• Exp: If you are Female, your event t-shirt will be following female size chart, and Male size (unisex) for finishing tee.
• All t-shirt distributing will be following participant’s choices, no t-shirt exchange will be allowed.
• All t-shirt sizes cannot be change.
• All sizes are Asian Guide Measurements (inches)

Course Marking

• Race course will be mark with tape and direction sign in all junction.
• Reflective tape will be mark on trees.

Check point & water station

• Drinking water will be provided
• All runners exit the COT are not allowed to carry on.
• Snacks or light refreshment will be provided in specific CP/WS

Mandatory item

• Hydration bag with at least 1.5 litre of water
• Waterproof rain Jacket
• Working headlamp with Spare batteries
• Blinker
• Mobile phone
• Emergency blanket

• Trail shoe (Road running shoe or Sandal are not allowed)
• GPX File (have to be uploaded into your watch or mobile phone)

1. Participants need to carry all mandatory item with them.
2. No start of the participants without a working head lamp and blinker/glow stick.
3. Switch off the head lamp In the dark will be disqualified.
4. Late start should never exist 15 minutes from the official starting time.
5. All runners exit the COT are not allowed to carry on.
6. Participants will need to follow the instruction from crew on the road section.
7. Participants can only run/walk at the safety zone organized by the event organizer, with advised by the Taffic Department of Royal Malaysia Police.

Terms & Conditions

1. 10 entries get 10% discount not applicable to Free Slots, UTMB/TDG Slots, Super Early Bird, Elite and Legend category.
2. Additional 5% General Discount Code
• Applicable to Single, Multiple entry.
• Not applicable to UTMB/TDG Discounted Slot, Super Early Bird, Elite and Legend Category.
3. All uncollected item will be forfeit and no refund will be granted.
4. All free or UTMB/TDG Discounted Slot are Non-Transferable (except General Discount Code).

• Market place BiB trading between 16/6/2023 - 30/6/2023 (No T-shirt size are allowed to be change).
• Upgrading, Downgrading, or BiB transfer can only be done at Market Place.
• BiB transfer with same distance & same or different category – Do it at Market Place.
• BiB transfer with different distance, upgrading, or downgrading – please email Checkpoint Spot at info@checkpointspot.asia

Enforcement

• All mandatory item are enforced.
• Mandatory item check will be carry out at certain check point from time to time.
• Disobey or disrespect the instructions from marshal or crew may lead to the disqualifications.
• Disqualification apply for any of the mandatory item missing during the ongoing category.

Participants responsibilities

• Participants need to be aware of their own safety.
• Participants need to ensure their mandatory items are working and always carry with them.
• Participants have to be aware of the official Cut Of Time.
• Participants responsibility of the mandatory items missing lead to their disqualification.
• Insurance coverage up to age 65 years old only.
• Runners will need to carry their own medicine (no medicine will be provide by crews)

DNF

• Participants whose voluntary withdraw from the race.
• Participants whose cannot meet the official Cut Of Time.
• DNF participants who wish to leave by themselves will need to report to the person in-charge at the particular CP/WS. Failed to do so may trigger the search & rescue, and the cost will be bear by the said person.
• Vehicle will be stand-by at Gua Batu Maloi (KM12), G. Dato foothill (CP3), Vinn’s Cottage (CP4), to despatch the DNF participants to the base.
• DNF participants who wish to withdraw between CP1 & CP3 will need to proceed to the nearest pickup point by themselves, unless seriously injured.

Traffic (Road Sections)

• Royal Malaysia Police Traffic Department will be taking care of the traffic on the road section (if any), assist by RELA and crews.
• Cones will be use to ensure participants will only run within the safety zone.
• Safety blinker will be use to alert the driver and road user.
• Escort might be driving along the road section to ensure all participants obey the traffic instructions.

 Search & Rescue

• Ambulance & First Aider person will be stand-by at start/finishing.
• Ambulance will be marshal from time to time.
• Bomba & Rescue will be informed and stand-by.

• Collection in person only.
• No collection on behalf is allowed.
• Proof of identity (IC or Passport).
• Subject to mandatory check.
• Tampin Water Park.
