Walk-a-Payung 2024 in conjunction with World Lupus Day and the launch of CPG SLE. Walk-a-Payung (“WAP”) themed walkathon, where participants walk using umbrellas to raise awareness that SLE patients must avoid excessive sun exposure.

  • Please note that the Walk-a-Payung T-shirt size is strictly based on the size selected by the participant during registration; any request for a size change will not be entertained. However, if your preferred size is unavailable, we will provide an alternative size. Thank you for your understanding.

Route

Rules & Regulations

  1. Participation Age:
    There is no age limit for participation in Walk-a-Payung 2024. However, individuals below the age of 18 on 19th May 2024 must obtain the consent of their parents or guardian.

  2. Minimum Donation Requirement:
    To qualify as a walker in Walk-a-Payung 2024, individuals must register and donate a minimum of RM60.00.

  3. Collection of Event Materials:
    Walk-a-Payung T-shirt, umbrella, Lucky draw sticker, and goodie bag can be collected at Persatuan SLE Malaysia's office on 11th May 2024, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, unless requested to be collected at the Event Venue on Event Day from 7:00 am to 9:00 am.

  4. Entry Conditions:
    All entries are NON-TRANSFERABLE and NON-REFUNDABLE for any reason.

  5. T-shirt Size:
    The Walk-a-Payung T-shirt size is strictly based on the size selected by the participant during registration; any request for a size change will not be entertained.

  6. Merchandise Details:
    Colour, design, and material of all merchandise may be different from illustrations and are subject to change without notice.

  7. Event Delay and Cancellation:
    The Organisers reserve the right to delay the start of the walk in the event of heavy rain or extreme weather conditions. If unfavourable weather conditions persist after the delay, the Organisers reserve the right to cancel the walk without providing refunds. Goodie bags will still be given out to all participants. The Organisers shall not be held responsible for any claims whatsoever in any form made by any individuals or parties concerned.

  8. Media Usage:
    The Organisers reserve the right to use any photographs (including those of participants), motion pictures, recordings, or any other media records of the event for any legitimate purpose, including commercial advertising and distribution to sponsors.

  9. Participant Liability:
    Participants partake in this event at their own risk. The Organiser shall not be liable for any injuries, loss, and/or damages to property, whether personal or otherwise, arising from the training for or during the event.
